We want you to get the care you deserve

We are celebrating 21 years of health care service this year. After founding this clinic in 2003, Anton Sostaric continues to play an active role in developing and providing health and fitness services. Over 130,000 services have been provided by our practitioners to over 17,000 clients over the past 21 years.

We are accessible to all members of our community. We participate in many healthcare programs to support disadvantaged members of our community who need assistance with their health the most. We are a destination for some and a gateway for others. We collaborate with all members of the healthcare community. We use new technologies such as HealthLink to improve communication with your GP.

About Us

clinic3.jpg

As we age we suffer from co-morbidities and require increasing healthcare assistance. We work on low-intervention care for chronic illness and its precursors, keeping you well and out of the hospital. We train our middle-aged clients to keep fit and strong so they grow old and strong, not old and frail.

Our staff aims to improve your journey through complex injury, diseases, and disorders by working closely with stakeholders, from GPs and surgical specialists to carers and employers. We strive to be accessible to all members of the community by opening the hours you need to be treated and charging fair fees.

Anton Sostaric

Director, Physiotherapist, DEXA Technologist

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He doesn’t work in isolation. 28 years of professional service and relationships means he has a vast team of experts to call on from all over the world. The first thing you will learn following your assessment is your diagnosis, and subsequent prognosis usually with 95% confidence. I may be the person to manage your problem through to resolution but It may be an expert I have referred you to. You are guaranteed that your problem will be handled by the right person/team.

Anton has gained deep knowledge and practical experience through a very broad career including roles in managing national level British athletes and running a private practice in London in the mid 1990s, to managing the injuries of receational and elite skiers at Mt Bulla for the 1997 season, to running the ever evolving clinic in Sydney for the past 18 years.

Anton has dedicated 50% of his practice time to metabolic fitness and ageing at a deeper level for the past 8 years and his assessment and training strategies focus on improving mitochondrial function and maximising your metabolic flexibility. This approach ensures endurance and resilence. His interventions address the science and evidence most programs miss: establishing the correct training zone (intensity). This program is suitable for everyone: from the elite athlete to weekend warrier to sedentary individuals struggling with metabolic syndromes and Type 2 Diabetes.

Private Health Insurance

We have a HICAPS terminal for fast claims and on the spot processing of any private health insurance cover you may have. Meaning you simply swipe your health fund card and then just pay any remaining balance (the gap), or alternately you can pay by card at the end of each visit.

Medicare

In order to receive a rebate through Medicare you must have a valid referral, either an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) for allied health services from a GP, or a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) for psychology services from a GP or psychiatrist. For those referred under an EPC, you will receive a rebate of $58.00 per session for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. For those referred under a MHCP, you will receive a rebate of $93.35 per session for up to 20 sessions per calendar year.

Workers Compensation and CTP Claims

To bill the insurance company directly for any workers compensation (injured while at work) or Compulsory Third Party (injured in a motor vehicle accident) sessions we need a referral from your doctor indicating physiotherapy or psychology treatment has been prescribed. Once we have this referral, as well as your workers compensation or CTP claim number, and have confirmed this with the insurance company, we can bill the insurer directly.
