Training Studio Leichhardt – Physio-Led Personal Training
Whether you're over 50, recovering from surgery or simply want to keep building strength and fitness after physiotherapy, train in a private, fully equipped studio run by physiotherapists with more than 30 years' experience each. Your progress is measured, not guessed.
Why train with us
Clinical oversight
Your program is designed by physiotherapists who know your injury history, so you can train hard without setting back your recovery.
Measured progress
Strength dynamometry, DEXA body composition and VO2max testing show exactly how much stronger and fitter you are getting.
A private, quiet studio
An appointment-based studio inside our Leichhardt clinic. No crowds, no waiting for equipment, and free on-site parking.
Rehab to Results: keep going after treatment
Finishing physiotherapy shouldn't mean stopping the exercise that got you better. Rehab to Results moves you from treatment into ongoing training, with the same clinicians and the same equipment.
During treatment
The training studio is complimentary while you are an active patient of the clinic.
Graduation session
At the end of treatment we retest your strength against your first results and write your ongoing program.
Keep training
Continue with physio-led personal training or a self-guided membership, and retest to track your progress.

Testing that shows your progress
Most gyms can only guess whether you're improving. We measure it, and use the results to adjust your program.
Strength testing
VALD dynamometry measures strength and range of motion at every major joint, compared with people of your age.
DEXA body composition
A Hologic Horizon scan measures lean mass, fat mass, visceral fat and bone density, so you can see muscle gained, not just weight lost.
DEXA scansVO2max and metabolic testing
Cardiopulmonary exercise testing sets your training zones, and retesting shows how much your fitness has improved.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a patient of the clinic?
No. Anyone can train in the studio. If you haven't been treated here before, you start with an initial assessment so your program is safe and suited to you.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. We liaise with your GP and specialists where it helps your care.
Can I claim on my private health insurance?
Health fund rebates may apply where your session is part of physiotherapy treatment for a condition. Check your level of cover with your fund before booking.
Is the studio suitable after a joint replacement or surgery?
Yes. The studio is designed for rehabilitation, and your program is set by a physiotherapist in line with your surgeon's guidelines.
Is training safe if I have osteoporosis?
Yes, when it is properly prescribed. Progressive strength training is one of the most effective ways to manage bone health, and a DEXA scan helps us set the right starting point.
Is the studio busy?
No. Sessions are booked by appointment, so you won't be waiting for equipment or training in a crowded gym.
